Collection: Au dela de notre souffrance (Beyond our Suffering)

Au‑delà de notre souffrance (Beyond our Suffering) by Odia Norvet is offered in multiple formats, including unframed archival matte poster, canvas and framed canvas options.

A multicolored storm churns through sea and sky, symbolizing the chaos and suffering surrounding Congo. At the edge of the destruction, a tiny house with a glowing candle stands against all odds, embodying the nation’s resilience. The scene captures both the violence of the storm and the quiet strength of survival.

About the Artist

Mugisho Byamungu Etienne is an emerging Congolese painter whose work explores the tension between what we hide, what society expects, and what we long to become. Currently studying in the Painting Department at the Kinshasa Academy of Fine Arts, he creates introspective works that mirror the human search for wholeness through contrasts of shadow and light. His growing artistic presence includes a group exhibition at the National Museum of Kinshasa and participation in the Velasquez Project organized by the Spanish Embassy in the DRC.
