Collection: The Fragment

The Fragment by Sarah Tshibasu is offered in multiple formats, including unframed archival matte poster, canvas and framed canvas options.

The cracked silhouette reveals a chorus of faces within, each one a reflection of communal suffering. These fractures speak not of destruction, but of wounds carried and shared. It’s a haunting tribute to pain, memory, and the strength found in broken places.

About the Artist

Mugisho Byamungu Etienne is an emerging Congolese painter whose work explores the tension between what we hide, what society expects, and what we long to become. Currently studying in the Painting Department at the Kinshasa Academy of Fine Arts, he creates introspective works that mirror the human search for wholeness through contrasts of shadow and light. His growing artistic presence includes a group exhibition at the National Museum of Kinshasa and participation in the Velasquez Project organized by the Spanish Embassy in the DRC.
